Bringing together talented, upcoming artists and Australia’s leading songwriting and voice experts
The Artist Studio is a Sydney-based creative hub specialising in songwriting and voice development. They help develop up-and-coming artists by providing them with the skills, resources, and experience necessary to successfully navigate the Australian and international music industry and to thrive in their music careers. They are an incubator for some of the most exciting new artists coming out of Australia, with direct links to publishing companies and record labels as well as PR, management, and digital marketing teams.
The Artist Studio have been mentoring young artists since 2015. In 2020 their director Christian Lo Russo reached out to us to build them a new website and better engage with their customers during the unprecedented COVID epidemic. For speed to market, we initially launched a micro-site with a new online-only workshop. This allowed them to keep offering their services to new and existing customers.
We then rolled out the rest of the website, creating a new look and feel whilst retaining their existing brand identity. The new site uses a bold colour palette and large typography with headlines in an ALL CAPS treatment. We refined the structure of the site, with better interconnectivity between different sections of their story and offerings. New and improved bio sections feature their musical mentors and artists, with original content embedded throughout the site including Spotify, Soundcloud and Youtube. Their services and workshop services are fleshed out further on the new site, with the ability for users to book and pay online for sessions with their talented mentors.
We could not be happier with how the finished website has turned out. We feel that it’s bold, modern look is perfectly matched to the personality of this creative Sydney musical hub. We look forward to working further with Christian as he develops his business further.
