Sense Rugby
Helping kids thrive through rugby
Sense Rugby is a rugby based Occupational Therapy program designed to help kids who find it difficult to be part of a sports team. It was founded in October 2015 by Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Carlien Parahi and Australian Rugby Sevens Olympian, Jesse Parahi.
They started Sense Rugby knowing that many children in Australia find it difficult to be part of a sports team. Specifically, they help children who live with some of the following developmental delays and conditions: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia and Learning difficulties (amongst many others). Their talented team delivers therapy through rugby by creating a positive and successful social experience, and building on each child’s strengths.
The SlickWeb team worked closely with Carlien and Jesse to redesign their existing site to more effectively communicate their service offerings, goals and philosophy. As part of that we organised a photoshoot to help capture the amazing therapy environment that Sense Rugby provides. This content was leveraged throughout the website and their other marketing material.
The new website tells Sense Rugby’s story in a far more engaging manner, whilst leveraging opportunities to further engage with their audience and potential partners and sponsors. The Slickweb team was honoured to help out an organisation that’s helping to make the world a better place!
