Children's clothes that don't cost the earth!

 

Kidclo is a startup reseller of “re-circled” children’s clothing with aiming to change the world. Their mission is to accelerate the world's transition to a more sustainable way of living by using technology to make second-hand clothing effortless and accessible. They understand that parents have their hands full dealing with kids, work and life in general, and as much as they’d like to focus on sustainability and the future of the planet, they just can’t fit it in their busy schedules.

Kidclo has setup a community and process that enables them to handle all the hard work, so parents can carry on doing the good work in a simple and efficient manner, whistle being rewarded. All they need to do is send Kidclo their clothing in one of their clear-out-bags and they will take care of the rest, including: sorting and grading, professional cleaning & photography, image accuracy, listing and selling of the items and packaging and posting. And once sold parents can be rewarded with a percentage of the sales or donate their share to a charity close to their hearts.

So when Kidclo’s CEO, Austin Tasker, engaged Slickweb to work on their online platform and marketing strategies, it was a no brainer. We had to be part of this great idea! We worked closely with Austin and the team to design and develop their eCommerce store. The new store aimed to showcase Kidclo’s mission, services and products in a simple and friendly way, providing users with a seamless, engaging and sophisticated experience through the process and available products.

Focusing on creating an efficient user experience, we developed a conversion optimised eCommerce website, supported by Shopify, with the aim of providing users with a tailored journey through the content all the way through to checkout or registration forms to become a seller. To complete the full customer cycle and ensure consistency across all touch points, we custom designed and implemented all consumer communications, from transactional emails to the automated flows such as Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Thank You and Birthday emails.

The final result is a unique and modern website that enhanced Kidclo’s mission and brand, capturing their values and goals, translating these into the digital world and their customers through every touchpoint.
